Durable polypropylene insulation from “Polifas”

“Polifas” offers foil-clad insulation made of polyolefin, which is produced under "Stenofon NPE type F"™. This two-layer thermal insulation composite material consists of a polyolefin base and a reflective lair - polished aluminum foil. Its presence helps to improve the reflection effect. Therefore, surface warm reflection coefficient of this foamed polyolefin reaches 99%.

Aluminum foil is applied by thermal welding to improve reflective properties. Foil insulation can be used for heat, hydro and sound insulation of:

• pipes in baths, saunas;
• chimneys;
• walls, floor, ceiling.

Specification and properties of polypropylene insulation

Expanded propylene is a durable heat-insulating material that retains its properties in the temperature range from -40 ° C up to + 150 ° C. This material is highly-resistant to chemically aggressive environments, resistant to increased loads. It does not absorb moisture, does not decay. It is also elastic, which makes installation easier. The presence of foil layer allows heat to remain inside the room, which is very important in winter.

"Stenofon NPE type F" is sold in rolls of different length. Products with material thickness of 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm are released at 100 meters, and with a thickness of 8 and 10 mm in rolls of 50 meters.

The insulation made of expanded polyolefin is durable, the density is 35-40 kg / m3, does not corrode, has a long service life - 50 years. In addition, it is eco-friendly and absolutely safe for health.
